This is an aftermarket Jotul C550 Rockland left-side blower. 100% ball bearing, quiet, 100 CFM and replaces the original #156476 60 CFM crossflo blower. You’ll need to keep your original mounting bracket and transfer the wiring harness to this blower, so please keep those as they’ll be required for replacement. The original style blower Jotul used was the crossflo or tangential (squirrel cage) blower you see above. C550 Rockland’s with the original style blowers should use these replacements. Jotul eventually replaced these blowers with a centrifugal style blower, but the mounting plate was modified to accommodate this style of blower. You’ll see that the black centrifugal style blowers have integrated mounting feet that slips over two threaded studs on your original mounting bracket. To help improve on the design further, we’re using a fully capped bearing (ball) to prevent dust intrusion. We’re also using a metal wheel to help eliminate the change of wheel melting and cracking. Please note: power cords and wiring harnesses are NOT included with replacement blowers. Please review dimensions before purchasing. Replacement blowers are intended to replace worn or defective blowers and do not include the components of a full blower kit.
