The blower is pre-wired for easy installation and features our 100% ball bearing blower assembly. The blower and motor are quiet, powerful and incredibly efficient. The kit includes a full range variable speed controller with on/off position that gives you complete control of the blower’s speed and air flow. The FBK-250 kit also features an automatic thermostat sensor that is magentically attached to the underside of the fireplace. The thermostat works by measuring the surface temperature of your fireplace and will automatically turn your blower on when the fireplace has reached a set temperature. It will turn the blower off after the fireplace has cooled down. The kit also includes a galvanized steel mounting bracket with pre-installed noise reduction padding to prevent vibration and noise, while also ensuring that the blower is securely mounted to your fireplace. A thermostat switch is required in installations where no designated wall switch for the blower has been added. If your fireplace has a designated wall switch for the blower already installed, you have the option of using the FBK-100, FBK-200 or FBK-250.
