GDS-63 Dual Blower Motor Replacement for Napoleon GDS50 / GS50
Aftermarket GDS-63 dual cage blower motor assembly replacement for the Napolon GDS50 / GS50 HavelockT gas stoves. Does not include replacement gasket. This listing is for the blower only. 100% ball bearing, quiet and 180+ CFM of air flow. Equal if not better quality than the OEM blower. How to Replace Blower on Napoleon GDS50 / GS50 Turn off the electrical power and the gas supply to the appliance. Open the lower louvre control door, the two side doors and the fire viewing door. Remove the relief door assembly held on with 6 screws. Disconnect the two blower wires. Remove the blower bracket held on with 4 screws. Replace the blower using the existing bracket. When connecting the replacement blower, tighten the screws without distorting the rubber grommets. Replace the bracket / blower assembly in the appliance. Reconnect the two wires. Hold the replacement gasket in place and reattach the relief door assembly. Turn the gas supply and electricity back on. Because the blower is thermally activated, when turned on, it will automatically start approximately 15 – 30 minutes after lighting the appliance and will run for approximately 30 – 45 minutes after the appliance has been turned off. Use of the fan increases the output of heat.
