Product Details – GZ552 Fireplace Blower Kit. The GZ552 fan kit is a blower kit designed to fit a number of fireplaces, including many models from Continental and Napoleon. The blower kit comes fully assembled & pre-wired and includes all of the components you’ll need to successfully install a blower into your fireplace for the first time. The EP62-1 mounts easily using the supplied brackets. Noise reduction padding is also included to help eliminate vibration and reduce noise. The kit includes a rheostat variable speed control that allows the user to control the blower’s RPM speed. This allows you to control not only air flow, but reduce the noise of the blower as well. Unlike most of our competitors who use inferior sleeve bearing motors, our GZ550 blower kit uses a much higher quality ball bearing motor. Ball bearings motors last longer and operate more efficiently than their sleeve bearing counterparts. Additionally, we also use a ball bearing outboard bearing. The outboard bearing is the red cap you see opposite the motor. Our use of ball bearing outboard bearings reduce shaft end play and provide a much smoother, more quiet and longer lasting blower assembly.
