The timer feature is designed to engage the fan after a short timeframe (Approximately 5-7 minutes) of continuous fireplace use. This feature disengages approximately 12 minutes after the flame has been extinguished. The Rheostat gives you complete control of the air velocity and sound, as well as the ability to manually disengage when desired.
